I take your point with Satisfaction but the others no.
Beatles were a pop band The Stones are a rock band,

New Stones song is nothing special. The fact they are still going after nearly 60 years is...I've lived the wrong lifestyle I think

When in was in my 20s I was in most the national papers (and Fortunes Always Hiding) when I changed by name to one that was Stones/West Ham related. Almost cost me my job that little stunt did.

Swiss - Satisfaction is one of the mist lumpen, pedestrian rock songs of all time. Might as well listen to Status Quo. Massively overrated band who had about 2 songs that weren’t boring as fuck, with a singer waddling around singing in a strained yank accent. No fucking thanks.
Beatles also produced some complete shite, kind.

Anyone who thinks the Stones are better than the Beatles is the same sort of cunt who thinks Mrs Brown's Boys is better than Fawlty Towers.
Fuck off.

Pony it might not be the best live version but it's an outstanding song which the Beatles never matched. And you can add Satisfaction, Brown Sugar, Paint it Black and The Last Time to that.

I have not included any Stax/Soul/Motown stuff... otherwise Booker T and the MG's would be pushing for first place
